Description
HandBrake is a free, open source, cross-platform multithreaded video transcoder software. You can use it to convert various videos from one format to another. Although it can process most popular multimedia files it won't work with protected DVD or BluRay disks.

- I followed the advice from hyvboots and handbrake still won't rip a disc (says no valid source code). I am loath to buy a replacement when Handbrake has been so good up to now. I also don't like the idea of 'turning off' SIP.
- Dec 10, 2018 Admittedly, HandBrake is a neat and useful tool to help users get the videos they want to other devices. It's fast, reliable and comes with excellent quality. However, HandBrake won't always get the job done. Among those Handbrake won't rip DVD situations, many users were unfortunately blocked at the first step as Handbrake won't scan DVDs at.
Jan 22, 2009 Handbrake stopped working with 5.1 Hey all, I have a bunch of DVD's ripped into my itunes, and it is a mix of 5.1 and 2.0. About 3 weeks ago or so, the 5.1's work just fine on my ITUNES, but the sound doesn't work on my apple tv. I'm not sure what the problem is. I just installed the freshest build of Handbrake but it won't load. It's just a white screen and whenever I mouse over it I just get the little spinny wheel thing. I'm running W10 if you need to know. Please help me get this fixed!!.

Feb 25, 2012 Handbrake is now having an issue with my master mov file. No matter what I try it simply won't start the conversion. After setting everything up I click on start and nothing happens. Mar 21, 2019 Necessary to mention, VLC player is required to match with your HandBrake, namely 32 bit VLC for 32 bit HandBrake, and 64 bit VLC player for 64 bit HandBrake. Question 3: I'm trying to convert MKV to MP4 Mac. I'm using handbrake, for some reason, it just displays 'No Valid Source Found'. I've been converting videos and I've never had any problems.
